Paragraph 11 of our Constitution
requires that we hold an Annual General Meeting of the Society.
This year, it will be held
11:30–13:00

Sunday 25th April 2004
at the Novotel, Knebworth,

To approve the Minutes of the Last General Meeting (Held on
23 Mar 03)
2.
To receive, consider and
adopt the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 Dec 03
2.1.
Chairman’s Report
2.2.
Treasurer’s Report
3.
To Appoint the Secretary
4.
To Elect new Committee Members – Ninetta Butterworth and
Elizabeth Sharp are standing down (list of candidates to be available at
the Meeting)
5.
To Approve Changes in Constitution recommended by the
Executive Committee (none)
6.
To Note Changes in Byelaws agreed by Executive Committee:
6.1.
paragraph 9 amended by Executive Committee (7 Jan 04) to
read
"9 . For Society
Exhibitions and Collections - 33.3 per cent of the
catalogue price (excluding VAT and casting costs
for sculptures) on each and every work sold.
Any variations in this
figure for any Exhibition or Collection
shall be agreed by the Exec Ctte before
the event."

To Discuss any other relevant business raised by the
Chairman or of which 2 weeks notice has been given to the Secretary (ie by

Apart from helping to guide the
development of the Society, the AGM provides an excellent opportunity to
meet fellow artists of all abilities.
A sandwich lunch will be available (£4 per head – indicate
number of people requiring this on the accompanying questionnaire), or you
may opt for a fuller meal in the hotel’s restaurant or bar if you wish
(under your own arrangements)
