Don't forget the Victor
Champagne
prize at the Exhibition.
Something in black and white with some humour is the requirement as it
will be used for a label on the champagne bottles for a year and there is
a magnum of champers for the prize! - Worth thinking about! |
Handing-In Day We need all hands available at Handing-In day - it's a fairly frenetic
event, and any help gratefully received (just carrying and holding
pictures for judging would be helpful!) - pse let Margaret Curtis know if
you can help! |

Slides of Work for Exhibition - A few things for all exhibitors
(and potential exhibitors) to note
- If works have been successful at the preliminary selection based on
slides (done in May for Friends), the slides are needed at Handing-In
Day to match real paintings/sculptures to those which got through
preliminary selection
- The slides are used for publicity purposes, including catalogue
entries, and may be needed right up to the start of the Exhibition
- Glass mounted slides don't travel well (especially if loose in a
tub!) - the Society cannot accept responsibility for slides damaged in
transit
- While the Society will make every effort to return slides
(self-addressed packaging included in the original will help) we
cannot guarantee this (eg if a press organization has not returned
them). We suggest you have duplicate made at the time of
original processing.
