the Mall Galleries
Have any of you submitted work that has been accept-
ed. If so Glynis is offering to take down a van load to
London to share costs. Please contact Nikki on 01695
559286 as she will be sending work down with Glynis
and will take yours over to Yorkshire if you wish.
Aintree Branch Annual
Exhibition
We understand that many of our members are commit-
ted elsewhere with exhibitions this year and so we are
now planning to have an exhibition around Easter 2004.
Lesley Southwood, Company Trading Manager of the
ILPH will advertise this in the ILPH newsletter and on the
web site.
We have a large upstairs room with picture rail and
plenty of light. With support this could be an excellent
venue for us and it could start to be known for its art-
work as well as a rescue centre.
SEA Yorkshire Branch Exhibition
The Yorkshire Branch hold their own Annual Exhibition
11th October to 1st November 2003.
All members of the SEA are eligible to submit work to a
selection committee. Please contact Glynis Mills for fur-
ther information and entry forms.
Glynis also runs a range of successful study days and
events in her area and welcomes support from other
SEA members. See the SEA website for details.

Aintree Group Trade Stands
Following on from the Open Day we intend to have a num-
ber of Trade Stands at horse shows around the country. On
some of these occasions the York Branch may join in and it
would therefore be called a ‘Northern Groups SEA - Aintree
and York’ Trade Stand. If you are interested in joining us to
achieve this please contact Anne Corless. Once again, to be
eligible for this you must have an involvement at Penny Farm
by hanging artwork in the Tea Shop
.

Jean lives on a small farm in Cumbria with a variety of animals
including 2 labradors, 1 Jack Russell, 2 thoroughbred mares (1
in foal), Highland cattle and Belted Galloways.
As if this is not enough to fill her days she is a prolific artist
with a studio gallery at her home which she opens to the pub-
lic.
Jean is a keen racegoer both flat and National Hunt and her
passion is reflected in a lot of her work.
