Additional Details
Sunday July 23rd . The Household Cavalry Summer Camp Fun Day .

The Household Cavalry are in Norfolk a little earlier this year . They stay at Bodney Camp where they have all the facilities for the horses. The day out to the seaside at Holkham is usually well covered in the national press. Bodney Camp is west of Watton on the B1108 road between Watton and the A1065 road from Mundford to Swaffham . The camp is out of the village of Bodney but you can’t miss it or the green Nissen hut type buildings on the south of the road. The Regiment provide all the facilities you would need for a fun day out – food, drink, etc. There is not a lot of cover there – so bring you hat, waterproof, etc. Local Accomodation.

Bodney Camp is 4 miles from Mundford, and about seven miles from both Watton and Swaffham. Tourist information: Swaffham 01760 722255. Watton & Wayland 07818 670694. Bodney Camp is about 15 miles from Brandon.

Brandon where Mr and Mrs Arnold run the Riverside Lodge which has several ways of accommodating people in the house/hotel or in cottages in the grounds. They have quoted me £50 b&b for a double room or £30 for a single.

Please confirm with me asap that you are coming!

On Saturday 29th we will be at the ILPH Hall Farm at Snetterton

The Centre have now organised Dressage to Music for this Saturday. Facilities here are very good. We can order our food for a set time from the cafeteria when we arrive. Meet in the car park at 11 am. when the centre opens. Please confirm with me that you are coming.

May 20th and May 21st based at “Fosters” in Hartest

Fosters is liked by everyone as somewhere special to visit and the house is available to us – provided we have enough people to fill the space!

The plan is to spend one day at the polo tournament at the Cambridge and Newmarket Polo Club and the other at the local mixed stud in the village of Hartest. We have wet weather facilities at both but we are able to choose the best day for the polo as both sites are available on both days. Jim Power will be on hand as tutor – provided there is not a crisis back at the stud! We do need to know very soon if you would like to stay overnight at Fosters so that we can confirm the booking.
