Debbie Dunbar HSEA

2017 Cuneo Medal winner

Debbie has been a member of the SEA for some years and was promoted to Full Membership in April 2015. She is honoured to have been awarded the Cuneo Medal in 2017.  In 2012 she was also awarded the John Noot Gallery prize for Best Oil Painting at the SEA Annual Exhibition in the Mall Galleries London, for her painting ‘Parthenon’.

Working as a professional artist in West Wales since 1986. collected internationally for her unique and vibrant equine art, she has works in man private collections including HRH Prince of Wales, Royal Stables of Oman, Rt Hon Dame Shan Legge-Bourke, The King’s Troop,  and Dr Wynn Davies MBE.

Specialising in equine art but portraiture and landscape art also feature. As a qualified tutor she teaches part time and runs one day workshops in the summer. Debbie is happy to discuss commissioned work, please see her website for more information or email her direct.

Because of this she is influenced by the work of Munnings, John Singer Sargent, Sorrola, Geriacault and others. She is currently very fortunate to be tutored by Malcolm Coward HSEA.
