For the past fifteen years Elaine has been drawing equestrian subjects, and is now developing a wider range of interests taking the traditional imagery of the English countryside and presenting works with fresh impact and strong contemporary styling
Her first Exhibition was at the Goodwood Dressage event in 1993, and her original limited edition prints and cards have proved successful ever since. She takes a small number of commissions each year for a variety of subjects
Elaine’s particular style was developed at art college in London, where she trained as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Her first job was in Bond Street working for a well known fashion photographer, who greatly encouraged her illustrative skill, and her drawings were published in glossy international magazines (although at this stage the subjects were not horses!)
Elaine has developed a website so that people who are interested in her approach can see the style for themselves. She can be contacted by email or through her website.
