“Karen’s work is expressive, with colourist leanings. Wishing to portray the feeling of joy, exhilaration and pure wonder she experiences when watching a beautiful animal moving with grace and speed, her chosen medium is watercolour for its spontaneity and freshness.
Karen is a member of North Devon Arts and Devon Artist Network and enjoys painting wildlife, alongside commissioned work. She exhibits regularly and attends shows throughout the South West, including selected National Trust and RHS venues.
Fond memories of pony club as a youngster is as close as Karen has come to experiencing first-hand the thrill of horse mastery, but a lifelong love of the beauty of all things equine has led her to join the SEA.”
