Lara Roberts
Biography
Lara is an artist based in London who specialises in equine and canine portraits. Having grown up in the New Forest, animals, and in particular horses and dogs became a natural source of inspiration. When studying for her BA Hons in Fine Art Lara combined both her love of animals and painting and ‘Lara Roberts Fine Art’ was born.
Since then she has exhibited work as far afield as Hong Kong and regularly exhibits in London, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.
Her work ranges from detailed and traditional portraits to large cropped canvases and studies of jockeys and hounds, all in her preferred media, oils.
Lara takes commissions through out the year and is always willing to try new subjects on request.’
